Wileman Daisy Shape Jug & Bowl - Snowdrop Pattern Cream / Milk jug and slop bowl made by Wileman & Co at their Foley China Works Fenton Staffordshire. The factory subsequently became the famous Shelley Pottery early in the 20th century. Jug is 4.25" tall and 3" diameter. Slop bowl is 5.5" diameter and 3" tall. Pieces are in the scalloped "Daisy" shape first registered in 1888. Attractive green transfer printed snowdrop pattern. Printed factory marks to both pieces. These include: Wileman factory mark. Shape registration number 115510 (1888). Pattern registration number 331958 (1899) and factory design / decorator number 9714. (see images) A little wear to the gilding, slop bowl has a crack in the base (only visible under bright light) n o other chips or repairs. Jug is perfect.
