WILEMAN DEMITASSE TEASET ALEX SHAPE 9 PIECES PLEASE SEE MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MORE MATCHING TEACUPS AND PLATES. This auction is for a Wileman demitasse tea set in the Alex shape. The set consists of a demitasse teapot with lid, two demitasse cups and saucers, the small cream and sugar and a cake plate. The cups measures approximately 3 inches in diameter and is 2 inches tall, the saucers are 4 ¼ inches across. The teapot is 4 inches tall by 6 inches from handle to handle. The sugar bowl is 3 inches in diameter by 2 inches tall. The creamer is 2 ¼ inches tall by 3 inches from handle to spout. The cake plate measures approximately 8 ½ inches in diameter. The sugar bowl, cake plate, cups and saucers are in very good condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. T is some minor micro-crazing thatâe(tm)s not noticeable unless you are looking for it and under a bright light. The teapot is in good condition but the handle has been broken . It is a clean break and the pieces fit perfectly into place. Iâe(tm)ll leave that up to the new owner. Please see the pictures below. T is minor staining inside the pot. The creamer is also in good condition with the exception of a small âeoeUâe shaped firing crack on the inside near the rim. It doesnâe(tm)t hinder the use of the creamer. It just needs a good cleaning and a sealer. E-mail me with any questions you have prior to bidding. I do combine shipping and the cost is determined by the total weight of all the items. I also reimburse any unused shipping fees of $1 and greater. For shipping costs outside of the U.S.A. please contact me. NOTE: Although in good condition this set is old and used so please expect normal wear marks such as light utensil scratches, minor scuffing on the saucer from the cup as well as wear marks on the bottom of the cup from setting it down on different surfaces etc (unless otherwise stated). Trios of this age are also prone to manufacturing marks such as tiny black specks under the glaze, pin holes from glaze popping in the kiln and support marks on the pieces from w the pieces were seated while being fired. These marks are not defects. They are normal manufacturing marks from this time period
