WILESCO D455 VERTICAL TOY STEAM ENGINE Gently Used / With Lots of Great Extra Parts AND MUCH MORE (SEE LIST OF ALL INCLUDED EXTRAS BELOW) Auction Lot Description: This German-made live-steam engine machine has been run 5 times for about 10-15 minutes each time, we gathered around in astonishment as this real-live-steam engine roared into action and steamed up - and we enjoyed activating the steam whistle and increasing the speed with the fully adjustable pressure-control throttle type governor valve that allowed us to be in full control of all the remarkable performance and RPM action this precision machine develops. Plus this machine can go in reverse rotation! You will love watching this fun machine in action! It produces speeds I didn’t expect! This is a very powerful vertical steam apparatus which has a mirror finished nickel plated 65mm X 175mm boiler with a tank capacity of 500 cm3. The flue is 20mm in diameter with a detachable chimney which is very efficient. This boiler tank has a vertical water level window which helps you never run out of water so to maintain good operation for maximum power and proficiency. This life-like power-house is painted handsomely and true-to-life, it has the large 80mm flywheel w/grooved pulley attachment. The body of the unit has natural copper plate colored brick fascia walls, footbridges with wrap-around railings and ladder , and a refuse bucket for the overflow tube which releases miniscule amounts of oil (mixed with water) while in use. There is a high pressure spring loaded safety valve to prevent pressure in the tank from reaching any levels which could ever pose hazard. There is also a great hand activated dome steam whistle at the top of the boiler . Having features like the automatic steam oiler protects the engine and ensures long life. Complete original instructions are included. This unit stands 330 mm tall! I am including all of the following items which I didn’t get the chance to use like I wanted to. Everything you see here is everything you need to build a steam powered electric energy station; your very own electric company is with-in reach. The engine can be set up with all of the included pulleys and belts and wires to produce the electricity to power several lights. Other included items allow you to set up gearing conversions and work around a bend with the included U-joint spring coupling. There are many new shafts and springs and belts which can all be set-up to run dozens of other cool things Momod, Jenson, and Wilesco among other steam companies sell out in the market and on the WWW. This is an outstanding well-crafted, German-made machine that you will get years and years of enjoyment from. They are not cheap however and parts and accessories add up fast so this is the ideal way to buy and get into the hobby of steam power with a package deal like this. This machine has only run with distilled water in the tank so there is no corrosion and is in like-new condition. I can’t find the oil I had so I recommend that you buy “Wilesco Live-Steam Engine Oil” online the moment after you win this auction so you are not tempted to run without the proper Wilesco oil. A simple flame under the tank in the furnace, heats the water in the main boiler tank and the pressure builds up which produces the power of steam to push the piston back and forth which actuates the train like gizmo to turn the wheel, which in turn can power anything you run a belt and pulley to (Included), the generator (included) can produce electricity and thus illuminates the lights (included) The things you can do with this machine are limited only to your imagination, creativity, and ingenuity.
