I am selling several older milk product and advertisement items. This auction is for a " WILEY BROTHERS" advertisement that is in the shape of a milk bottle that has an hour glass on the front of it. A very unusual item that I have never seen before. The item measures 5 7/8" tall and 2 3/4" wide. I'll call the condition of this item as very good with no surface rust but the lettering is faded. What I can read is this: WILEY BROTHERS ICE, MILK AND CREAM GOLDEN FLAKE BUTTER, MILK, CREAM COTTAGE CHEESE. DILLSBURG, PA PHONES 75 and 21-R-S. My Pennsylvania Milk Products referenece book states that t was a Wiley's Restaurant on Rt 11 South of York, Pa but the book does not reference the location of the Wiley Dairy. The phone numbers tell me the item is fro the 1920's. Please see photos and email me with any questions prior to bidding. I'll call the condition of this item as very good for its age. If you collect older Pennsylvania milk bottles or dairy memorabilia is a nice addition to your collection. The shipping will be $5.00 + optional insurance of $1.35. All sales to be final.
