OUR SINCERE APOLOGIES TO ALL THOSE WHO HAD PLACED BIDS ON THIS LAMP IN ITS INITIAL LISTING ON eBay, BUT WHEN OUR CONSIGNOR COULD NOT LOCATE THIS LAMP UNDER THE 'SECTION' HE IS ACCUSTOMED TO SEARCHING IN, WE WERE ASKED BY HIM TO IMMEDIATELY & PROPERLY RE-LIST THIS LOVELY WILKINSON LAMP UNDER "COLLECTIBLES". WE ERRED IN NOT DOING THIS THE FIRST TIME THROUGH, AND THE FAULT IS OURS EXCLUSIVELY. PLEASE DON'T ALLOW OUR INEXPERIENCE (WITH "Selling") TO PUT YOU OFF WHAT IS A GENUINELY NICE, VINTAGE LEADED TABLE LAMP. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Offered for sale, at NO RESERVE, is an early Wilkinson leaded glass lamp, circa 1910 to 1920, with its original, ornate Ram's Head bronze base, deeply stamped with the model number "250" on the underside of the base itself. If one looks very closely --- it is so very faint our digital camera cannot even gain enough resolution to display it --- t is a faint "Wilkinson Lamp Co." moulded into the underside of the base, as well, in script form. Due to the quality of construction and its superb glass, we initially believed this lamp to be made by Duffner & Kimberly, but a bit of research on the bronze base motif (lol...and yes, using a big magnifying glass on the underside of the base to read what was t lead us to identifying read more
