Hello, we are Smoky Mountain Knife Works and we are offering some great items on ebay that you may not find in our retail catalog. Please read entire description before bidding. Well folks, we go, another great group of collectible knives offered exclusively to our buyers on ebay. This group of knives is a very special collection, it belongs to the President of our company, Mr. Kevin Pipes. Throughout the 26 year history of our company Kevin has accumulated lots of great items, many of these knives were prototypes, some went into production and some did not. Some of the other items you will find in this group were gifts from several of the cutlery companies that we have dealt with over the years. Items like sales award knives from Case Cutlery and Buck Knives, custom made items from David Yellowhorse and special editions from several other companies. Many of you may ask "Why is Kevin Selling his collection?", well, to be honest the stuff was piled so high in his cabinet it was beginning to overflow. I was in his office one day and he said it was time to thin it out. I hate to see it go, but the man does sign my paycheck; and I do like my job, so I will do as he says. We intend to use the proceeds from this collection to make further improvements to our new addition scheduled to open this spring. Each knife sold will include a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Kevin Pipes. I hope all of you enjoy this fine group of interesting knives, if you have any questions please feel free to ask. Up for auction is a beautiful German-made Stag Hunting Knife.This knife was a sample sent to Kevin many years ago.The knife was produced by the Willi Ulrich Co. in Germany.It features a beautiful Genuine Roll Stag handle,Silver washed guard and pommel and a 9 3/4" Soligen Steel blade.It measures 16" overall,comes with a leather scabbard with Silver washed mounts,and is in excellent condition (no box).Look at the photos and see the beautiful engraving on the blade.The silver washing is slightly tarnished but we believe it will clean up.Don't miss a chance to add this great German-made Hunting Knife to your collection.We're proud to offer this item from the personal collection of Kevin Pipes,President of Smoky Mountain Knife Works.Keep watching for other great items from the President's Collection,offered with no reserve.Bidding starts at $9.99, no reserve after that.
