Please check out my 100% POSITIVE EBAY FEEDBACK and bid with complete confidence. (And please check out the other beautiful pots that I have on eBay.) You are bidding on a wonderful Eames era plate by Oregon potter William Creitz. DESCRIPTION: This wonderful plate circa 1960 from American Northwest master William Creitz exudes a warm period "feel". It features any number of fish-like entities swimming against a background of triangular segments that are awash in various speckled earthtone glazes. The outer rim of the piece is comprised of darker shades that serve to frame the "artwork" contained within. The plate measures 8 5/8" in diameter and rises up 1 3/8" at the rim. It is in mint condition- no chips, cracks or repairs- and is signed by the potter on the underside. This is a no reserve auction. ABOUT WILLIAM CREITZ: Portland, Oregon master potter William Creitz's work is included in the ACS Ceramic Monthly Collection and was featured in a retrospective of important Northwest potters at the BIF Gallery in Seattle -- "Open Minds/Covered Jars: The Pacific Northwest 1945-75" -- alongside regional mid-Century masters Lorene Spencer, Robert Sperry, et al. Winning bidder pays $12 for insured shipping and handling. (International shipping charge is $30.) Payment is due within seven days of the end of the auction. I accept Paypal, money orders, and personal checks (but please allow ample time for personal checks to clear.) International winners must use Paypal. THANKS for looking and GOOD LUCK.
