A beautiful Modernist Watercolor by an important and influentialOhio Modernist. His work is currently part of the ground breaking show at the Massillon Museum of art " Against the Grain: Modernism in the Midwest " Against the Grain is accompanied by a 122-page catalogue (with illustrations of Grauer's watercolors) with essays by Ms. Shearer and Dr. William H. Robinson, Curator of Modern European Art at the Cleveland Museum of Art. The show opened at the Massillon Museum in Massillon, Ohio, on May 15 th and will be on view until September 12 th . It will then travel to the Riffe Gallery in Columbus, the Southern Ohio Museum in Portsmouth, and the Museum of Wisconsin Art in West Bend, Wisconsin.William C.
