Please see attached photos of a rare William Moorcroft tea set c1940's. The set comprises of a tea pot, milk/cream jug and a sugar bowl. The tea pot comes complete with the original paper label which reads 'Potter to HM The Queen'Measurements of the pieces are as follows:Teapot - approx. 6.5 inches high (to the top of the lid)Sugar bowl - approx. 3 inches highMilk jug - approx. 3 inches highAll pieces are in excellent condition and free from chips, cracks or restoration that I can see. There is the usual crazing which is found on pottery pieces of this age (teapot is more crazed than sugar bowl and jug - see photos)A must have set for any Moorcroft collector given that it is in great condition and rare to find nowadays without handles or spouts having been damaged. The set will be securely packaged and sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery (insured) to the winning buyer. UK buyers only please. I am open to reasonable offers on this listing.
