A truely stunning William Moorcroft for Macintyre Revived Cornflower vase. It would date to c1912, being a very early example of this design. The colours are very crisp with no colour runs. The design is decorated on a lovely sandy background. It has a wealth of detail both inside and out. The vase stands just over 5in tall and 6in in width. It has the usual impressed marks to base with Williams full signature and the Macintyre stamp. The vase has had a small chip to one of the frills on the top rim restored. It does not encroach onto the design at all, and is very difficult to detect. This vase would make a superb addition to any collection. For further images please visit Abberley Collectables website.
