UNUSUAL WILLIAM SPRATLING BRACELET Marked in circle mark "Spratling...Sterling...de Mexico". Also present however very faint is eagle Conquistador's mark with unknown number in eagle mark. The Spratling mark dates to ca. 1949-1951. Having four turquoise stones with double headed arrows pointing to a rounded ball. Most unusual is the griping hand clasp. Simple chain with key used for fastening. All links in good working order. There is residue on the bracelet which comes off with your fingernail, it's hard and could either be tarnish or glue. It does chip off. I have not attempted to polish it. It looks like there has been some crude repair work to the one or more of the stones (see closeup pictures), thus the reason for the yellow residue on the silver. This bracelet is being sold AS IS which is subject to usual wear for the age.
