Greetings classic gamers! If your Williams Arcade game has been experiencing such problems as intermittent resetting, frequent component or RAM failures, your not alone! It's a problem that plagues all of the older Williams games and nine times out of ten the culprits are the power supply unit and RAMs! T are several problems with the original power supply's..... they are about 25 years old, their components have drifted out of spec and are unstable, and the Molex connectors usually become intermittent. It's a fact that the majority of all game board failures are related to power supply problems! Next up is the twenty four 4116 RAMs on the CPU. These pesky 16K RAMs are very problematic and extremely unreliable. They consume a lot of power, generate a LOT of heat and need three different voltages to work , +5, -5 and +12 VDC. Problem solved! Up for auction is a complete replacement Power Supply with a proprietary harness and 24 brand new 4164 RAMs that once installed will add a reliability to, and likely will fix most if not all problems with your game! The New Supply and RAMs will work in the following Williams upright and cocktail games; Defender! Stargate! Joust! Spalt! Robotron! Sinistar! Blaster! Bubbles! and Clays Multi Williams Game. T are really no installation skills required, just plug the Power Supply in - it comes with a brand new 16 gauge custom made harness that plugs directly into your CPU, ROM, and Sound boards, then remove all 24 of the socketed RAMs and replace with the new 4164 RAMs provided! The new 4164 RAMs included in this auction will replace all of the old 4116s. The 4164s consume less power, generate almost no heat and need only + 5 VDC to work. They also virtually NEVER fail so no more RAM errors! The harness with this new Power Supply is specially configured to run these RAMs with no further modifications to your CPU, you must however use only this Power Supply for this conversion ! You will not be able to use the 4116s with this Supply! Your new Power Supply will be tested and adjusted on an actual Williams board set insuring the critical +5 volts is rock solid and exactly w it should be. The three Molex connector's are new and each pin is hand crimped, not like the original fail prone connectors w the pin has a V blade that just slices into the wire. Each connector is labeled so installation's a breeze! Just sit the Supply in the bottom of your game and plug it in! T is no cutting or splicing, so you can keep your game totally original! The harness is made to custom fit your game keeping the inside neat and tidy. It's great for game conversions, it will run the entire boardset in ANY arcade cabinet with an RGB monitor!
