Original TANDEM TOW BAR for the WWII military jeeps. These were used to hook two jeeps together so small artilllery pieces could be moved about the field. This unit was professionally dipped to remove rust and old paint. It was then cleaned with Metal Prep, rinsed, and primed with Rustoleum Professional Red Primer # 7569. Since military paint comes in various shades, I left this final decision up to you, so you can get an exact paint match to your jeep. T is only one grease fitting and it is damaged (You can use it to guide for replacements). Some areas of the metal frame are pitted, but not too badly. It is fine tow bar for a motorpool class restoration. The footman-loop / wood block accessory strap is not present. These are getting very hard to find. Note: Item is used but serviceable. A 60+ year old part, and tfore sold AS-IS, no returns. The picture of the tow bar mounted to the jeep is for illustrative purposes only (jeep not included). Please view my other WWII army military jeep auctions. Good luck with your project. Shipping to the Continental United States ONLY! I would prefer local pick-up. Item is very heavy and shipping will be expensive! (Three years ago I shipped a complete NOS Tandem Tow Bar Assembly to Florida via UPS and it cost $152.00) WILLYS MB, FORD GPW, GP, GPA, M38, M38A1, WC, M151, M151A1, M151A2, MUTT, WORLD WAR TWO, WORLD WAR 2, WORLD WAR 11, WWII, WW2, WW11, SECOND WORLD WAR, KOREAN WAR, VIETNAM, ARMY JEEP, MILITARY JEEP, NAVY, US NAVY, USN, NAVAL AIR STATION, USMC, MARINE CORPS, AIR FORCE, USAF, CJ2a
