Wilson Hyper ProStaff 6.1 Midplus StretchBabolat VS Team Thermogut natural gut For auction is a Wilson Hyper ProStaff 6.1 Midplus stretch tennis racket with Babolat VS natural gut, case and new overgrip in excellent condition. A very nice player's racket. Related to the original Pro Staff 6.1 Classic racket, this is the new improved version. The Wilson Hyper ProStaff 6.1 Midplus is one of the most control oriented frames offered by Wilson, combining a midplus sized head with a flexible beam and stretch length. Hyper Carbon is stronger, stiffer and lighter geared to the intermediate to advanced level player with a long, fast swing. Heavy static weight with a head light balance (as is typical with most player's rackets / Wilson Pro Staffs) keeps the 6.1 stable, maneuverable, and controllable. Dense string pattern further enhances the consistent response, feel and prolongs string life. MSRP $189 Bumper has light scrapes and scratches. Babolat VS Team Thermogut natural gut is in fair condition with some fraying.Wilson's second generation 6.1 begins w it all started - with the ProStaff 6.1. Existing and time proven technologies (ProStaff, Perimeter Weighting System, Flat Beam) now mesh with Hyper Carbon and a Double Braid of graphite/kevlar in the Hyper ProStaff 6.1. According to Wilson, the Double Braid construction increases the strength of the racquet while maintaining a player's feel. The Hyper ProStaff 6.1 swings surprisingly lighter than its predecessor (ProStaff 6.1 Classic) but with the same extensive sweetspot we've come to know. We also found a bit less power (in comparison) probably due to a small shave in overall weight. Regardless, the Hyper 6.1 standard lends excellent stability with the substantial feel advanced players love. Spin potential and control remain at a level consistent with ProStaff 6.1 quality.
