WILSON'S LATEST DESIGNED NFL GAMEBALL, "The Duke" FOOTBALL PAUL TAGLIABUE COMMISSIONER, PRODUCED IN MID 2006 ONLY!!! Up for bids we have this RARE, Official Wilson NFL Leather Football that was the NFL "Gameball" for ONLY 4 months....16 weeks !!! FROM May 1, 2006 when "THE DUKE" became the Official NFL Gameball to September 1, 2006 when Paul Tagliabue retired!!!!!!! WHEN YOU SEE THIS FOOTBALL YOU EXPECT TO SEE NFL COMMISSIONER ROGER GOODELL'S SIGNATURE AND WHY NOT???? THOSE FOOTBALLS ARE EVERYWHERE AND WILL BE FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE!!! THIS FOOTBALL HOWEVER.........IS A VERY DIFFICULT AND RARE FIND INDEED!!! The football is the Wilson F1100 "Gameball" produced during THE FINAL WEEKS OF Commissioner Paul Tagliabue's tenure. Mr Tagliabue's retirement took effect September 1, 2006. The Roger Goodell version was being produced late 2006 for the start of the 2006 season!!!! These footballs are getting EXTREMELY hard to find now that the new Roger Goodell version is out!!! This football is in un-used condition, issued by Wilson to the Chicago Bears team, very nice conversation piece and a solid sports memorabilia investment!! This ball was taken out to take pics, you will receive a new in package ball as received by the team! You will see a BEVY of stars on the gold NFL shield of this ball, the current gameball only has 8!!!
