WINCHESTER HORNET FANTASTIC ABALONE CELLULOID TRAPPER KNIFE A very rare and beautiful series of knives which are very hard to come by, even on eBay. This trapper is gorgeous! It is the one celluloid handled trapper that I have shown to people that always draws oooâe(tm)s and ahâe(tm)s because the handles are so unique and pretty. This knife has the best looking celluloid abalone handles I have ever seen. The pattern, called " caramel swirl " as was pointed out to me by a fellow eBayer, is very intense and seems to have fire just like real abalone, if not better! A very unusual knife of very rare beauty and availability! Knife has a special 22c Hornet bullet case as its shield. Closed length measures 4" Main blade has the fancy Winchester etching which states: "WINCHESTER Trade Mark HORNET SERIES " Both blades are tight and have great snap. The tang states that the knife is made by Winchester in the USA 2004 âe~94. No box available for this item.
