Winchester bayonet marked 1917, with scabbard and leather frog, all original in excellent shape, latches work, original grips are smooth with no cracks and slight dings.Circled W on blade with 1917 date, flaming bomb, eagle head and US marked on other side. Blade is in good shape and has original part blued finish over blade marks. One of the best Winchester bayonets I've seen! Scabbard is leather in near perfect shape and leather frog is tight and fits well and has a belt loop. A great addition to any collection, just in time for Christmas! Ask any Questions before bidding on this piece of history. Sorry, domestic US sales only. Paypal and money orders accepted. T is a loop in the frog to put a belt through and wear this scabbard, the bayonet is complete and latches on to my Eddystone 1917 30.06 rifle. It has a 16 3/4" blade and is 21 1/2" overall. The leather is not brittle and is still supple and flexible, like gun holster leather. A really nice example of Winchester quality.
