You are bidding on a Winchester shell casing. This is not loaded ammunition. This is an inert shell casing. The casing is 12" tall and 3" diameter. At the base, on the bottom, it says "Winchester Repeating Arms Co., New Haven Conn. USA". Also has a star with a "J" inside of it. "Hitchkiss Pat's Dec 22 '74 and July 31 '88, also 7+89". T are a few minor splits on the casing, see pictures. This would have been used at the time of the Indian War. Winning bidder needs to notify me within 3 days of auction end of shipping address and method of payment. I will not be held responsible for uninsured items, so insurance is suggested. Paypal, postal money order or cashier's check accepted, no personal checks, please. Payment must be received within 10 days of auction close, or item will be relisted and appropriate feedback will be left. Email any questions prior to bidding, or auction end, whichever is first.
