Wind Swept - Wire Tree Sculpture - Original by Sal Villano 5"wide X 4"high X 4"deep. This wind swept tree is created using 26 gauge steel galvanized wire. It is securely bonded onto an irregular shaped, 1/4" thick solid piece of free formed glass. The tree is fixed onto the glass base using a mixture of a bonding agent, sea sand and small pebbles. The sand and the pebbles are painted with yellows, greens and whites India ink which gives the sand the appearance and texture of colorful moss covered earth. The India ink is "light fast" and the colors of the moss will not fade if placed in direct light. The steel wire will turn a gray color with age, but since the wire is galvanized, it will not rust. I have sold hundreds of these tree sculptures and have received many compliments and some very nice feedbacks on ebay. Quantity orders are welcome.
