The calendar is wood with a space to hold the collector plates and 5 grooves to hold the dates the wood frame has "hunny" pots and "pooh" painted on it each of the plates has a different Winnie the pooh and friends scene that is appropriate to the month. Each plate comes in the original Styrofoam case and has the certificate of Authenticity. Each plate is numbered. The plates are from the Bradford Exchange and are dated 1997. January is plate number 7304A, February is number C7629, March is number 12607A, April is 7029A, May is 10285A, June is 5716A, July is 8004A, August is 11193A, September is 8578A, October is 3241A, November is 9288A, and December is 6687A the calendar set also comes with the complete set of numbers and special occasion tiles. The set is in excellent condition; no damage to the plates, frame or tiles
