1969 J HUNGERFORD SMITH While this model has the word “SAMPLE” stamped on the roof, we believe that it is exactly as the final production was made. We began using the sample stamp on models because we discovered people were ordering a pre production sample and in some cases did not expect to actually purchase an entire order. We honestly don’t know if this had any effect on that little game – perhaps it did. J HUNGERFORD SMITH was a local Rochester company and if my memory serves me correctly, they made special sauces and toppings for ice cream, etc. Their large factory is now home to local artisans and has been rehabbed from its original manufacturing operations. The cab is the White Motor Co 5000 cab over, single axle. It is painted in bright Kelly green, matching the swing dolly and the wheels. The van is aluminum colored with white side panels and the Company name is screen printed in red and black. The model is packaged in a box designed, printed and produced in our own facilities by Winross. It measures 9 ½ inches long and 2 ½ inches high. This model is in mint condition. Shipping weight is 2 pounds. 6 PACK NEWS!!
