Original hardback, the contents of which are in good condition. The covers are a little worn with some bumping to corners. The gilt on the front cover has started to fade, the spine gilt more so and the spine is a little creased. The page block is browning and a little marked commensurate with the book being nearly 60 years old. The internal front and rear hinges, as is common in some of these books from the 50s, are exposed between pages vi and vii and 1038 and 1039. The pictures should speak for themselves. However, internally in good condition and the 56 Wisden can, of course, attract a great deal of interest because it covers the Ashes series of 54/55 when Tyson was to the fore in winning the Ashes for England. A good opportunity to get a 50s hardback at a reasonable price.
