WISTERIA WINDOW STAINED GLASS PANEL This is a beautiful glass panel by Toronto Stained Glass Company. It is a copy of the window Louis Comfort Tiffany had commissioned for his dining room in Oyster Bay, Long Island, 1908-1910. This stained glass window hanging is a museum quality reproduction of a section from these wisteria transom windows he had in his dining room. They are among the best examples of Tiffany's mastery depicting natural subjects in a simple, realistic and elegant manner. This is a hand-rolling process. After the enamels are applied to the glass, they are kiln-fired to become one with the glass. Because the colors are part of the glass, your stained glass has a lifetime warranty against fading or discoloration. The stained glass may be cleaned with any mild cleaning solution that does not contain any abrasives or acid. Use a soft cloth to dry & polish the surface. It measures aprox. 9 1/2" high by 12 1/2" wide. It has a brass frame around it & brass chain. There is writing at the bottom of the piece that it shown in two photos. It says "Wisteria Panel 1910, L.C. Tiffany, The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art, @ 1997 Toronto Stained Glass, Made in /fait au Canada. This piece can be hung with the chain or can sit on a table with the acrylic stand that is included.
