" Up for auction is a Witches Tales number 25 from Harvey Publications, 1954. It features one of the best pre-code horror covers ever! Lee Elias was the artist for this GRUESOME decapitation cover! Howard Nostrand also contributes his artistic skills in the books interrior illustrations. As usual, t is plenty violence and horrific mayhem! All of the things that make pre-code horror comics so much fun! The comic grades at good/very good (3.0). The staples are atatched to the covers. The spine has cosiderable wear and chipping. T is a 1 1/2" tear at the bottom of the spine. T is edge wear & staining to the front and back covers. The front cover has minimal surface wear.
