Up for auction is a spectacular Limited Edition Wizard of Oz Cookie Jar made by Star Jars in 1994. The company 'Star Jars' is no longer in business. The jar is number 664 of 1939, and this line was produced in that number because that is the year the original film "The Wizard of Oz" was released. This particular jar depicts The Wizard, who has a different face on the back of his head depicting Professor Marvel. The jar can be displayed from the front or back, even from the side, offering a striking display from every angle! The jar measures approximately 14Â½" wide x 10" deep x 14" tall. T is what looks like an extremely narrow seam line down both shoulders that disappears into the glaze, and is only noticeable under very close inspection, and two small 'touch up' marks w the head sets onto the body. These could have occurred during the piece's manufacture, and do nothing to detract from this fantastic piece! We are offering this Cookie Jar at a low starting bid with NO RESERVE!
