I have a wonderful collection of antique porcelain and glass up for auction this week from a Palm Beach estate. This is a gorgeous antique porcelain mantle clock. Made by William Gilbert Co, circa 1896. Marked no431 on back of clock. Inside the gold mechanisms marked 1902 William Gilbert Co, then patient applied for 1896. Victorian green with pink flowers. Measures 10 x 8". I bought it at a Palm Beach antique store years ago. I used it for display since I did not have a key for it. I was told it worked when we bought it, but I have never used it for that. I am not a clock person, but everything looks great. No chips or cracks, except the tinest fleabite off an edge, very minor. It's gorgeous and perfect for antique store or large Victorian Home.
