This lovely double salt stands 4 7/8" tall (at the top of the handle), and measures 5 1/4" across x 2 7/8" wide. Each of the salt bowls is oval in shape, and they stand 2" tall at the rims and measure 2" x 2 1/2" in diameter. This piece is made of metal and has two removable, aqua glass liners. The holder is stamped, "WMFM," which, according to this website (http://www.silvercollection.it/WMF.html), is WURTTEMBERGISCHE METALLWARENFABRIK The extra, "M," at the end of the hallmark means that the silverplate is over brass, which makes sense since the holder has a goldish cast to it. This piece is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or flakes. Buyer pays winning bid plus $5.00 postage in the USA, $8.00 to Canada, and $10.00 to other parts of the world.
