Wolf Creek Carved Primitive Collectible Whirl-I-Gig Mariner-Sailor w/Base

Intriguing carved wood mariner/sailor from Wolf Creek, Eldora IA. A whirl-i-gig, its arms circle completely around. Not resin. Not stuck or broken. Two pieces, sailor is connected at right foot on block base. Has all the reproduction features of a weathered piece. No recent damage or chips, scratches. Paint, detailing are consistent with reproduction theme, weathered. Signed on the bottom right foot, by Savage, year 1988, look at close up picture for detail. Unusual Wolf Creek piece, from my personal primitive, reproduction collection. Piece is 18" from bottom of base to tip of whirl-i-gig arm when fully extended up. Block base is 4 1/2" long by almost 3" inches deep. From sailor's boots to top of boater hat is 11 1/2".
