WOLF CREEK (ELDORA, IA.) WOOD CARVED FOLK ART CIRCUS LADY "STELLA

Up for bid is a hand carved folk art circus lady (Stella) stamped on the bottom with the Wolf Creek, Eldora, Ia. logo. Wolf Creek was started by Rick Sharp in 1978 and the co. specialized in primitive wood carved character people. It is signed and dated by Robin Ruth, 1990. The base measures about 12" long and about 3 1/2" wide. It stands 14 1/2" tall. Stella is part of a circus set and this is the only piece I have. She is painted in red, white and blue with white stars and is hanging by her teeth on a string. Stella is about 6 1/2" tall with arms stretching out to 6" long . (She has two small holes drilled in each hand, not sure what she would have been holding in her hands, but I do not have the part.) A person could easily string a small wire from hand to hand if you wanted to. Selling with a satisfaction guarantee with no reserve.
