Signed and dated by artist. Gorgeous Wolf Creek American Indian couple each hand carved from a single solid piece of wood except for the arms. Arms are hand carved from wood and attached to the bodies with wooden pegs. Clothing design is carved into the wood and each piece was then hand painted by the same artist. Wolf Creek stamped and Artisan hand signed by DB '92 on both pieces. Male measures approx. 10 3/4" Tall X 3 1/2" Wide (at shoulders) Female measures approx. 9 1/4" Tall X 3 1/2" Wide Well known for the quality and artistry in their high end folk art and primitive pieces, most notably Noah's Ark, the Wolf Creek artisan hand carvings are hard to find and highly collectible.
