I have made hundreds of handbags up to this point and I have to admit...this one is my new favorite. There is nothing like a great black and white photo.
This handbag was a custom order. And since we pride ourselves in finding almost anything our customers can dream of...here is the end result.
Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy were in many films together: 'Women of the Year', 'Pat & Mike', 'Desk Set', 'Adam's Rib', 'Without Love', 'Keeper of the Flame', 'Without the Flame', 'War Bonds', 'State of the Union', and the last one was 'Guess Whose Coming to Dinner' which was made two months before Spencer Tracy died.
The outside shows some rare pictures of the two of them. The sides and bottom also include rare photos. Katharine with her sisters, studio shots, in a beautiful art deco style gown...
On the inside is a letter she wrote to Spencer Tracy on the day he died.
This handbag is worth just using to decorate with...but of course, we'll let the customer decide.
