Women of Marvel Artist Sketch Card - Warbird - Cooney - This is one of the Artist Sketch cards from Women of Marvel, a non-sport trading card set from Rittenhouse Archives (2008), based on Marvelâe(tm)s female comic book characters. The sketch is an original sketch of Warbird. The artist of this sketch is Daniel Cooney. I believe the sketch was done with colored pencils (including yellow, blue, silver, orange and red), and t are some light pencil marks showing in a few places; plus, she is outlined in black. This card, having been taken out of a pack and put directly into a plastic sleeve, is in Mint condition.

For trading card grading, we use the standard definitions, as outlined in Beckett publications. Many non-sport card collectors come from comic book and other fields and may not be familiar with these terms. Some may be tempted to use terms such as Gem Mint, Very Fine, or About Fine, but those terms do not exist for advanced card collectors.

· Mint (Mt) - A flawless card. Perfect corners. 60/40 or better centering, original gloss, and smooth edges. NO printing imperfections are allowed.

· Near Mint - Mint (NrMt-Mt) - One minor flaw is allowed, from the following: one corner with a slight touch of wear, barely noticeable print spots, color, or focus imperfections.

· Near Mint (NrMt) - An otherwise Mint card with ONE minor flaw, from the following: one fuzzy corner or two to four corners with slight touches of wear, 70/30 to 60/40 centering, slightly rough edges, minor print spots, color or focus imperfections.

· Excellent-Mint (ExMt) - A card with two or three fuzzy, but NOT rounded, corners and centering no worse than 80/20. The card may have no more than two of the following: slightly rough edges, very slightly discolored borders, minor print spots, color or focus imperfections. Must have original gloss.

· Excellent (Ex) - A card with four fuzzy (not rounded) corners, and centering no worse than 80/20. Some original gloss may be lost. May have rough edges, slightly discolored borders, and minor print spots, color or focus imperfections.

· Very Good (Vg) - A card that has been handled, not abused. May have slightly rounded corners with slight layering, slight notching on edges, a significant amount of gloss lost from the surface (but no scuffing) and moderate discoloring of borders. May have a few light creases.

· We generally don't sell cards in less than Vg condition. Most of our non-sport cards are brand new, right from the pack. Usually, we grade these cards no higher than Near Mint, though many will actually grade higher.
