Wonderful 1800's CDV Tintype Family Album Estate Fresh ! This album is estate fresh in untouched condition! It is CDV size - 4 1/4" x 5 1/4" x 2 1/4" thick. It has a leather cover with white ceramic ornamentation and a brass clasp. The album is in very good condition! The album has 25 pages. They hold: 14 CDV's - approximately 7 of which have tax stamps! 4 CDV size Tintypes 15 Tintypes in oval CDV framed formats 8 "Thumbnail" Tintypes in CDV framed formats 1 unframed "thumbnail" Tintype 1 color card "Milking Time" 1 Steel Engraving of William Slade Most of the images are noted with names in pencil. The surnames noted are: Collins Barnard Coats Most of the images originate from Vermont. William Slade (the steel engraving) was the governor and representative of Vermont. Tfore, I believe that the main family - Collins - originated from Vermont!
