I am pleased to offer for your consideration this WONDERFUL 18TH CENTURY HAND MADE COBBLERS BENCH. This GREAT old bench appears to be in original condition. It is fresh to the market and has never been shown on eBay. The bench measures 43 1/2" long by 17" wide by 10" tall to the top of the seat by 14 1/2" tall to the top of the backrest. The work areas have the original tool holders which I have pictured. The large work area measures 24 1/2" long while the smaller one is 14 1/2" long. T are two drawers under each work area. Under the larger area the drawer is 14" wide by 16" deep. This drawer is divided into three sections. The smaller drawer is 10" wide by 12" deep. Both drawers have large dovetail joints holding them together. The large drawer is missing the stops that would prevent the drawer from going all the way through. This is a very easy fix. I believe that the bench is made from pine. This is a FANTASTIC 18th century cobblers bench that would certainly be a SUPERB addition to any collection.
