For its age, the tray is in very good condition - the paint decoration is still colorful, vibrant and intact, and the structure of the piece is sound. The amazing features of the tray are the brilliant banding on its outer ends: red/orange berries and green leaves are set against a white ground and abstract gold sprays are set underneath.
