Wonderful Old Tea Tin This is a wonderful old blue and white tea tin canister. It’s small in size, and looks to date to the 1920s, perhaps earlier. Lovely old fashioned scroll artwork. The tin has vintage wear and patina. There are some small areas of wear, some scratches, handling marks, some soiling, some small dents and dings, etc. White areas have darkened and yellowed in places. The lid has some noticeable denting and there is a lot of wear around the lid edge. Metal rims are darkened. Some early rust starting here and there on tin, including on metal rims and on several areas inside, including around inner crevice. Lots of wear and yellowing of white paint on upper base where lid fits over. Lots of patina on the inside and on bottom . Lid fits snugly, needs some coaxing. Again, condition issues of note: · White areas darkened and yellowed in places. · Noticeable denting on lid and lots of wear around lid edge. · Some early rust here and there. · Lots of patina and some rust inside. · Lots of wear where lid fits over. · Lid fits snugly, needs some coaxing.
