This fabulous Antique Iron Nut Cracker is market Fresh from a Northern Maine home. We have purchased a large collection of metalware from a couple originally from Mass that are moving back and do not want to transport it back with them. We will be listing many pieces so watch our sell page for more from this fabulous collection. All are guaranteed old and original! It is an old one with some original paint. It measures 7.5" long an 1.75" across the base of the front legs. It has nice reptile design just on the top rather than on all sides like some of the newer ones do. This has a fierce looking open mouth. Pick ut the tail and the bottom jaw drops to put your nut in. Push the tail back down and you have a shelled nut. It is in great condition offered with no reserve. What a wonderful addition to your collection. Please email with questions. All of our items are freshly picked weekly from New England homes.
