Lovely vintage figural and lustre-glazed porcelain table lamp, made in Germany, in perfect condition. Molded, white porcelain body, a flapper girl dressed in a mauve cloak, ruffed collar and yellow cockade hat, standing in front of a white column with decorative base below and relief-molded and painted flowers above. All under a clear shiny high luster glaze. Footrim unglazed. Standard steel rod with screw thread and nut attaches Leviton, USA, brass lamp holder at the top. Recently re-wired and in perfect working order. Comes with new lamp shade (as photographed) if required.
Marks: Unmarked, but unmistakable German hard-paste porcelain and hand-painted decoration. Date: Early to mid 20th century. Condition: Perfect condition. I can find nothing wrong with it. Absolutely no crazing, staining, scratches, hairlines, cracks or repairs. Size: Height of lamp (without shade) 5.2 inches (24 cms). Height of figure 6.25 inches (16 cms) tall.
