Wonderful EAPG Clear Glass Deep-Patterned Cruet with Stopper This is not only a lovely piece of Early American Pattern Glass, but one of the most utile ones we've come across lately. This is large for a cruet, standing 9 inches tall including the stopper. It measures 5 inches across at the shoulder and sits on a 3 inch base. We don't know the pattern but it has a flower or starburst with a prominent button flanked by a V-shaped inset with crosshatching, a smaller version of the flower copped with a palm leaf. T are also 4 deep pressed bands around the throat and a wonderful large C handle. The stopper is a bulb that is faceted and has a series of bubbles trapped inside. The stopper fits perfectly. T are no flaws on this piece, but the inside is slightly cloudy and needs cleaning. This may be a syrup pitcher or honey pitcher rather than a cruet because of its size. Regardless, it's a lovely piece and a perfect compliment to any table service. If you have any question about this or any of our other auction items, please direct your emails to
