Wonderful German Ersatz Picklehaube Helmet, Few finer! Before all the experts tell me all the things wrong with my listings of WW1 Imperial German helmets, I would like to preface these listings by stating that my knowledge of these items is VERY limited. Most of you know that my area of collecting is U.S. WW1 items. The only reason that I even offer these items, is the fact that they were made available to me at reasonable prices. I do not typically purchase items that I know little about unless the risk is not too great. I will be selling these helmets AS IS with no refund. T is no intent to deceive or hide anything about these helmets. They are as found and they are what they are. So please, bid what you are comfortable with. If you win it , you own it. If you need more photo's to help with your assessment email me with your E-mail address and I'll send more photos. After Tuesday May 8, I will not be able you send photos. Ask early! This Artillery Spiked German helmet is the nicest of the lot. The overall shape is near perfect with little to no tracking or bug bites to the wool surface. Large size to boot. I wear a 7&3/8 and it fits me. A little snug, but seats completely on my head. All components APPEAR original to the helmet. Again, I'm really easy to deal with, just a little tired of the experts trying to make these items
