Wonderful Folk Art Portrait of Gentleman This is a wonderful 19th century portrait of a young gentleman. It is a drawing done in a pen and ink medium and has fabulous detail. The hair is very intricately accomplished as well as his coat and fancy shirt. This portait is signed in the right lower bottom corner with the initials E. L. This portrait is in its original gold gilt frame. It is in very excellent condition with one small loss above the gentlemans head, a scratch or tear along the side and one pin hole to the surrounding matting. None of these areas affect the portrait itself. A very nice early portrait with a handsome gentleman and fine detail. It measures 4 1/4" high, and 3 1/2" wide. Please e-mail with any questions.
