This is a really nice wood carving of a WOOD DUCK. Very nicely carved. It is hollow, and appears to be made from resin and sawdust formed in a mold and then carved with individual details. It is an Art piece for your Mantel but is carved to look like an authentic decoy. The carver was Pat Sheler from the OLD CAROLINA DECOY COMPANY, SANTEE. SC. I bought this at the Eastern Wildlife show held annually in Charleston, SC.. The approximate size of this decoy is 14 inches long, 6 inches wide and 7 inches high. I paid $100.00 for this duck and its very well painted. Just have too many birds and some must be allowed to fly away. Good Luck. Sale is final
