Up For Consideration 40 Fathom Fish Crate, Bay State Fishing Company Cool Advertising Collectible! Wood Crate with Red and Blue Paint - Both sides reads the same Perishable, 40 Fathom Fish in Red and a Fisherman with his Fish on a Platter and the address Bay State Fishing Company 30 Fish Pier Boston Mass in Blue. Words Contents 20 lbs net in red at the very bottom are very faded. Both sides have fading, mostly fading occurring in the red paint. Several scratches and character marks from use, shipping, and age. Box is nice and solid, has two drain holes in the bottom. The lid is not hinged, these were nailed into place prior to shipping. Stamped on top R.D. Slotter, 4th & Chestnut St, Perkasie, PA 24215 as best I can tell - the zip and city is quite faded. Box measures 18 1/2"wide x 13 3/4" deep x 10 1/2" tall on the outside.
