This auction is for a Russian wood icon egg with of Christ the Teacher, icon is gold and silver foil. This really is the best quality you will find on ebay. size of the egg 2 3/4"x2" with stand 3" inches. Gold metal stand included. EGG HAS A UNIVERSAL SYMBOLISM OF RENEWAL OF LIFE REBIRTH AND LOVE EGG – did you know St Augustine described Christ emerging from the Tomb as a chick emerging from an egg shell?
