is clever mechanical wooden carved bottle stopper which I believe to be an Anri. This very old world-looking gentleman is playing a fiddle. The fiddle works when you pull the string on his lower back. It moves a little slowly, probably not as smoothly as it once did. The musician also moves his head when the string is pulled. T is a small piece of wood missing on the back side of his hat - looks like it cracked and broke off - probably 1/2 inch wide. The cork is intact and in good condition. This guy measures 5 inches in length, including the cork. This bottle stopper is not marked but the antique dealer I acquired it from told me it was an Anri. I will be listing several pieces.
