Our chess sets are handcrafted in the Carpathian Mountains by the largest manufacturer in Europe. The artisans, hand decorate them by using carving and burning technique. The tournament sets are used on many tournaments in Europe. We offer a wide variety of high quality chess sets in many styles and sizes to satisfy any taste. This "Senator" chess set contains a wooden, folding chessboard which is about a quarter inch thick and has insertions for the chessmen. The board and the chessmen are decorated with burned designs. All pieces are weighted and have felted bottoms to protect the board.
