Here is an interesting piece to add to your ice cream memorabilia collection. It is a vintage wooden manual/hand crank ice cream maker. It still has the paper label intact that tells it's manufacturer which was Proctor-Silex of Chicago. This is a Triple Action Freezer. The wooden bucket stands 12 3/4" tall and is 12" in diameter. It has three metal rings around it with a metal bail with wooden handle. It has turquoise paint with very little wear, just needs some cleaning. The turner is cast iron, and works great. The ice cream tub is tin and probably holds almost a gallon. It's lid is cast iron. The iron and wooden paddle is intact. The iron has some salt-wear. This piece dates back between 1960-1965. I found it at an estate sale and I don't believe it's been used much. This company went to plastic soon after, so this is a rare example of a Mary Proctor Ice Cream Freezer. Overall great condition.
