1930s German Turning Wood Saw, Log, all on Base for Putz Scenes, and underneath the Christmas Tree.Green wooden base.Saw with little wire handle, so the saw actually turns.Cut logs of varius sizes on base next to saw, as well as two trees already cut down to the stump.Wonderful look to it, and it worked so well with our Village Putz scene.We always used this between the den and dining room, in our china cabinet.. when had glass on both sides.That way, the detail of these different wood accessories could be seen up close.In addition to other wooden pieces as well as figures with which I can not part yet, there are more houses and buildings to the set, which we hope can go to new care-takers as we no longer set such a scene after we could no longer do our annual Charity Open House at Christmas. In fact, they are in very good shape. They are vintage, not reproductions. I guarantee that. I start all my auctions at .99 cents as it is an auction and I just never cared when I went to live auction and the auctioneer started very high, and then spent time backing down to get a bid.
