This was crafted by a wood sculpture artisan in Iowa named Charles Gartzke. This has soft flowing curves (easy to dust), beautiful an unique design with fully lined Jewellery quality felt. This is signed by Charles Gartzke. The piece measures approximately (I say this because its hard to measure curves!) 9" long, 4-3/4" deep from back to handle, 4" deep from back to drawer face with about a 5-1/4" overall height. This is in exactly the same shape as the day it was purchased, except for the minor peeling of the back sticky label. There are 2 visible imperfections but they were this way when purchased. Has "Wormwood" look to it, as in, its got holes in the wood, giving it much character. CRAFTED right here IN AMERICA :) This is perfect for the seamstress (to hold sewing notions, pins, buttons, closures, snaps etc), the craftsman or tinkerer (organize small parts, screws, fishing swivels etc), jewelers (store some more appreciable findings). The possibilities are vast, the uniqueness of this piece can lend itself to nearly any decor, from a rustic cabin, to tribal decor, cute and whimsical, even oriental or Asian decor due to the balancing flow and the shape of the drawers.
