We recently were at a local estate auction in western Pa. The man had a radio and TV repair shop and we are offering the items we obtained now on Ebay. He was in business from 1946 when he came back from WWII until the 1970's. Some of the items appear to be new / old stock and obviously some are not. All the items will be posted in the next few week's auctions. Good Luck Bidding. offered is a vintage telephone intercom switch box. I was told by the family that this was originally used on the Pennsylvania Railroad then brought home and used between the repair shop and home. I cannot be sure that this started at the Pennsylvania Railroad as t are no markings on this box to identify it. I pass the family history along with the box and you be the judge. The box is made of walnut and has four plug in holes as shown on the front along with three covered numbers. The little door that covers the numbers will flop down to complete the connection and I assume to show which line is in use.
